How do obtain a creature for free?

Each creature has a few default colors and styles that you can pick from in order to make your own! You're able to make as many of these free template creatures as you see fit, to help with world building, developing your wyngro characters, or just because they look fun to draw. Here are some details on how to get started with making a free creature to use in the community:

  • First, check the creature you want to create and view their "default versions". These are colors and styles they are commonly found in the world, so you're welcome to draw these to your heart's content!

  • You are able to name your creature, develop a personality for it, and so on!

  • You are not able to change its color, traits, or main distinguishing features.

  • You are welcome to display your creature at any age, give them scars, accessories, etc.

  • Have questions? Feel free to ask in our Discord server!

What is a "Unique" Creature?

Unique creatures are essentially adopts. They are draw by artists for the purpose of selling them to collectors. They come with unique colors, features and other bits that are not seen on the common form that members may create for free. Here are some benefits that unique creatures have that free creatures do not:

  • Official Masterlist: All unique creatures are categorized and published on our Wyngrew gallery, to be displayed officially!

  • Trading: Since these are published officially, they can therefor be traded in our Trading Post! Unique Creatures can be traded for Wyngro items, novas, Donated Designs, and so on. They cannot be traded for art or real money.

  • Official Events: Sometimes, official events will recognize certain creatures or use them in some capacity. This will allow members to show off their creature collections!

How do obtain a "unique" creature?

  • Patreon: The easiest way to obtain a pet is through our Patreon, which gives first access to different pet sales! Pets can range in price, depending on the design and rarity of said pet. Every pet is commissioned from an artist, so buying pets not only helps support funding for our projects, but also helps support our artists!

  • The Trading Post: is a great place to check, as members often post pets there as well, but you'll need to have items of value to trade for them!

  • Draw to Adopt Contests: We also tend to do monthly DTAs for pets! (Basically an art contest) You can click here to see our previous DTAs!

  • Pets can also be given away during events, as prizes, or randomly raffled. So just stay active and participating!
