Ready to change your character up and start playing with colors? Color Upgrades allow you to slowly progress your wyngro into looking completely different! Please read the rules below on the upgrade you choose to apply!

Rules for ALL Color Upgrades:

All color upgrades require you to make a duplicate Before & After comparison.
Must be drawn on the same base, using the same lineart.
Do NOT apply other upgrades when doing a color change. (Adding tails, ears, Markings, etc.)
You must have 5 colored deviations of your wyngro uploaded before using the same color upgrade again.

In your description, make sure to list the following:
Gallery of deviations needed:
Age Proof:

Please submit all color upgrades to THIS FOLDER!
Any Upgrades with cooldowns: Link your previous application made on that wyngro in your description.

Where can I find the official templates for the Before & After boxes?

Find them HERE! These are not required, but helpful for moderation if you'd like to use them!

Basic Color Changes:

All Basic Color Changes will allow you to completely change around your wyngro's colors for their final designs! Please keep in mind that once you use a color upgrade with a cooldown, that you have to wait that amount of time until applying it again!

Color Swap

Swap your current colors around!

Wyns needed: 100

Age Requirement / Cooldown: None

Drawing Requirements:

Your wyngro must have at least 5 colored deviations (fullbodys or busts) of it uploaded to the Wyngro gallery!

Drawing Requirement must be a Colored Piece or Polished Piece.

RULES:

Move all current colors around on your wyngro! (Including base!)
Placements may disappear in the process. (Example: a placement becomes the same color as the base it's bordering)
Colors that cannot be mixed: Eye & Sclera, Baby Spot, Elegant Hair/Royal Mane, Mouth/Tongue, Colored Paw Pads.
Color Mixer does NOT add new placements or colors.
Keep in mind if you remove a color from your wyngro with this upgrade, that color is gone! You will need to re-apply with Add a Color separately.

Add a Color!

Time to add a brand new color!

Wyns needed: 200

Age Requirement / Cooldown: 2 Months

Drawing Requirements:

Your wyngro must have at least 5 colored deviations (fullbodys or busts) of it uploaded to the Wyngro gallery!

Drawing Requirement must be a Colored Piece or Polished Piece.

RULES:

Use the Slider below to check your new color's legality!
Adds one color at a time to any pre-existing placement.
Markings may color change as well!
Add a Color does NOT change placements.
Keep in mind if you remove a color from your wyngro with this upgrade, that color is gone! You will need to re-apply with Add a Color separately.

Placement Mixer

Create new placements for any current color!

Wyns needed: 300

Age Requirement / Cooldown: 3 Months

Drawing Requirements:

Your wyngro must have at least 5 colored deviations (fullbodys or busts) of it uploaded to the Wyngro gallery!

Drawing Requirement must be a Colored Piece or Polished Piece.

RULES:

Check the Placement Guide to double-check your placement's legality!
Colors that cannot be mixed: Eye & Sclera, Baby Spot, Elegant Hair/Royal Mane, Mouth/Tongue, Colored Paw Pads.
Keep in mind if you remove a color from your wyngro with this upgrade, that color is gone! You will need to re-apply with Add a Color separately.

Limited Use Shortcut:

The following upgrade is a nice shortcut you can use in order to bypass the process of adding one color at a time! Please keep in mind that the Palette Swapper is not necessary to gain certain colors. It's just a convenient shortcut you can use every once and a while!

Palette Swap

It's Add a Color... but ALL the colors!

Wyns needed: 1000

Age Requirements / Cooldown: 6 Months

Drawing Requirements:

Your wyngro must have at least 10 colored deviations (fullbodys or busts) of it uploaded to the Wyngro gallery!

Drawing Requirement must be a Colored Piece or Polished Piece.

RULES:

Adds multiple colors at a time to any pre-existing placement.
Markings may color change as well!
Palette Swapper does NOT change placements.
Keep in mind if you remove a color from your wyngro with this upgrade, that color is gone! You will need to re-apply it again separately.

Gradients:

Gradients allow you to add a soft airbrush effect in order to fade colors into each other! You'll need to make sure the gradient is always added between two placements. Gradients Markings may have any two colors blend into each other.

A multi-variable generalization of the derivative.

Age Requirement / Cooldown: None
Drawing Requirements:

Your wyngro must have at least 5 colored deviations (fullbodys or busts) of it uploaded to the Wyngro gallery!

Drawing Requirement must be a Colored Piece or Polished Piece.

RULES:

This adds a gradient between any existing color placements your wyngro currently has!
Gradient cannot be used to make markings "fade out".
Gradient must must allow the original placements to still be identifiable.

Gradient Markings

When you need to have that sparkle-gro.

Wyns needed: 1000
Age Requirements: 1 Year

Cooldown: None

Drawing Requirements:

The wyngro you're adding this to needs to have at least 10 submitted

deviations (fullbodys or busts) of them in the group gallery!

Drawing Requirement must be a Colored Piece or Polished Piece.

RULES:

Markings cannot be moved between before & after images.
Markings must have a gradient that is easily visible on the surface they're on and cannot fade into the wyngro's body.
The gradient added may be any color.
