Briefing: Russell is looking for some local wyngrew to step up and help with Wynsiph’s security! Though, it seems you’ll need to prove your mettle before Russell will let you in on the more action-packed jobs!

Russell: So you're the new assistant? Ugh, great. I guess you'll do. Watch where ya step, I don't wanna see any injuries happen in my jail.
As you enter the Sheriff's Office, you can’t help but notice the small workspace looks more like a disaster zone than a place of work. Papers are haphazardly stacked in leaning towers on most of the available flat surfaces, while plates of what look to be several half-eaten puckoo salads in various states of … old. Ew. At least there was a clear path to Russell’s desk through the maelstrom of mess.
Russell: So, yer here lookin’ for a job, eh? Lookin’ fer some adventure, I figure. Catch some criminals, kill some spites, take those tales to the Rattle’s Rest an’ get some fame, eh? Easy-peasey, I’m sure yer thinkin’. Go ‘round town, beat up the bad guys, then do it again. Hah.
You nod excitedly, but then Russell slams both spiked claws down hard onto the table.
Russell: WELL YA THOUGHT WRONG! Bein’ a deputy in this town takes a heck of a lot more than the fun stuff, and ya gotta earn the right to the fun stuff like kickin’ ass and takin names. IT'S NOT ALL ABOUT HEROICS.
The quad heaves up one of the many stacks of paperwork available and shoves it at you.
Russell: If you’re keen to do things the hard way-- the RIGHT way, then take this stack and head to the jailhouse. We’re short-staffed, so I’m gonna need you to watch the prisoners while going through all that. But don’t talk to ‘em. They’re a bunch or rotten no-gooders. An’ most of ‘em are just in there ta sleep off too much sap, so I doubt you’d get much small talk in there anyhow.
Now don't come back to my office until that entire stack is sorted through, ya hear!
